The New Mercedes EQS Is the first serious rival to the Tesla Model S and may even take the crown away from Tesla as being the number one choice for the London Chauffeur market and Chauffeurs around the world looking for a greener alternative to the regular diesels, which the majority of London Mercedes S-classes are.
That coupled with the fact that Mercedes as well as several other legacy manufacturers have been fined billions by the EU for faking their emissions. Everyone especially Mercedes wants to move on from that debacle and even make amends. This car allows them to do that.
With the new Mercedes EQS, all previous indiscretions are forgiven. Mercedes have really wiped the slate clean with their latest offering. The new EQS promises even more tech than the current S-Class, which was previously the first to receive all their fancy new technology, now the EQS is the new kid on the block!
The all electric EQS’s bonnet is a lot shorter than the current S-Class mainly because it doesn’t need to house a huge honking dirty polluting diesel engine - just an empty space filled with erm… Air! The roofline has a sloping line and a panoramic glass roof that appears to be full length - one piece from the windscreen all the way back to the rear window.
Built using a brand new platform which could mean even more interior space than the current S-Class. Plus the new MBUX screen, which is a gorgeous one piece screen infotainment centre.
The new EQS will join our fleet as soon as possible, due to make its global debut in May 2021.
